The ideal candidate should have strong capabilities in supplier management, negotiation, product sourcing, market analysis, and purchasing, with a good understanding of commercial and retail operations.
Job Description
Plan and execute purchasing activities in line with business requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
Monitor market trends, pricing, product availability, and customer preferences.
Ensure timely availability of products and maintain optimum inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and improved procurement efficiency.
Candidate Profile
Degree/Diploma in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in buying/procurement, preferably in retail, FMCG, food, or a related industry.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Good understanding of purchasing, inventory, and supply chain processes.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-oriented environment.
