Responsibilities :

  1. Inventory Management: Lead and manage inventory control processes to optimize stock levels, minimize waste, and ensure product availability.
  2. Staff Supervision: Provide leadership and direction to supermarket staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure a motivated and skilled workforce.
  3. Sales Growth Strategies: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue, through promotional activities, product placement, and customer engagement initiatives.
  4. Profitability Enhancement: Analyze financial performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve profitability through cost control measures and revenue optimization strategies.
  5. Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards pertaining to food safety, sanitation, and employee conduct.
  6. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate positive relationships with customers by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and soliciting feedback to enhance the overall shopping experience.
  7. Supplier Relations: Maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure timely deliveries, and source high-quality products at competitive prices.
  8. Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and mutual respect among team members.
  9. Data Analysis and Decision Making: Utilize data analytics and market insights to make informed business decisions, such as pricing strategies, product assortment, and promotional campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of successful managerial experience within the retail sector, ideally in a supermarket environment, demonstrating effective leadership and strategic decision-making.
  • Strong leadership qualities characterized by the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving organizational goals. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with staff, suppliers, and customers.
  • Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to implement practical solutions in dynamic retail environments.
