Recovery Officer
Immediate job opportunity for Recovery Officer in a well-reputed construction company.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field visits to recover outstanding debts and overdue accounts
- Negotiate repayment plans and settlements with debtors
- Maintain accurate records of all recovery activities
- Collaborate with legal teams for potential legal actions when necessary
- Provide regular reports on recovery status and challenges
Requirements
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills in Sinhala, Proficiency in English and Tamil is a plus
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Retired Police Officers or retired personnel from forces can apply
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion
- Valid motorcycle or car driving license
- Trustworthiness and integrity are paramount, as the role involves handling cash and cheques
- Prior experience in credit collecting & handling recoveries will be an added advantage
- Age above 30 years preferred
