Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our motorbike spare parts shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail, preferably in the automotive or motorbike industry, and a solid understanding of spare parts inventory and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily shop operations and staff supervision
- Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and compliant with safety and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries, provide expert product recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, and inventory
- Monitor inventory levels, order stock, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability
- Provide regular sales and performance reports to the manager
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently
Qualifications
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, sales software)
- Familiarity with inventory management
- Good knowledge of motorbike parts, accessories, and maintenance essentials
- Previous experience in retail or automotive spare parts (motorbike experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
